Family is another great passion

Sarah is a star.

She’s at City of London School for Girls (one of the UK’s premier league independent schools) having won a full academic scholarship - and is having a ball.

Before that, she “endured” 3 years of home education (we did really have a lot of fun) before a great time in Cathedral School of St. Saviour & St. Mary Overie (an excellent state primary school) last year.

With 13 A* GCSEs and an AS level already under her belt, she’s taking 6 AS exams this year.

Beyond this, she’s recently been made a Worshipful Company of Innholders Apprentice, represented the United Kingdom at the International Linguistics Olympiad in Stockholm - 2010, just been called up to the England Debating development squad - and many many more exceptional achievements .

The really great thing is that despite all this, she is not just academically gifted! She’s also fully engaged in Sculling, Aikido, football, drama, Guides and a host of normal teen stuff.

Dilek hails from Ankara (the capital of Turkey).

She is an artist, mainly working in digital fine art, animation and web design.

Since graduating from City and Guilds of London Art School, the highlight was being acclaimed (BBC, Guardian, global press, etc.) for a piece on Consumerism in the 2003 Royal Academy Summer Show.

You’ll see her art at various shows, including the Affordable Art Fair.

Although mainly oils on canvas she uses computers and photography extensively either as sketching tools or to produce digital works in their own right. Her works are about our times and bringing art to life in fresh ways inspired by contemporary visual media and technology.
